FRS 102 – Time to implement!!

FRS 102 The FRS applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland was published in March 2013 and fully revised in August 2014 for full implementation from the 1st January 2015. It will apply to over 90% of companies in Ireland as it will be the ‘bible’ for most non listed companies in the preparation of their annual financial statements.

This course will cover the main differences from current Irish Gaap and explain the transitional rules and processes required from 1st January 2014 to ensure a smooth transition between the two standard setting regimes.

The course will be presented by Robert Kirk  Professor of Financial Reporting at the University of Ulster and author of ‘A New Era for Irish  and UK GAAP, A Quick Reference Guide to FRS102’ published by CPA Ireland.
