Dealing with Conflict Situations
The workplace is a hive of activity where many different personality types take on the daily challenge of completing their tasks in a professional way. It is also a naturally stressful environment where conflict between co-workers, management and staff and also between departments is a common occurrence for many. Your ability to recognise when conflict is taking place, establishing the root cause of the conflict and being able to bring about a quick and fair resolution is essential in dealing with difficult situations. Conflict happens, however in most situations if you deal with it early you can avoid potentially serious fallout.
