Why Complete the CPA Practice & Audit Orientation Programme?

Looking to start your own practice or just want to update your knowledge? Then it is essential that you attend the CPA Practice and Audit Orientation Programme Cork.

New applicants for Practising Certificates and Auditing Certificates are required to have completed the CPA Practice & Audit Orientation Programme and passed the associated examination.

The examination is a short, open book exam, related to the issues covered during the programme. It will consist of a series of short questions.

  • Applicants for Practising Certificates must complete Day 1 (Practice Orientation Programme) and the examination
  • Applicants for Auditing Certificates must complete Day 1 and Day 2 (Practice Orientation Programme and Audit Orientation Programme) with examinations

The programme will be delivered by CPA’s technical staff (Emer Kelly, Alan Bailie and Fidelma McPhillips) and Colm Divilly from Professional Education Seminars.

The course will:

  • Provide a concise, information filled event, giving full details of all the regulatory responsibilities of the Practitioner, over a day and a half.
  • Allow technical experts get to the heart of regulations and present them in a user friendly way to potential applicants.
  • Give practical advice on running a practice.
