Speaker: Keith Rooney & Sean McLoughney
Location: Galway

Key Course Details

9.30am – 1pm Key Performance Indicators

For the last number of years most companies have been in survival mode with the main focus on costs containment, tight budgets and maintaining revenue streams. Not surprisingly financial KPIs were at the forefront for most accountants. As we move back into growth mode accountants need to broaden their business KPIs to include some non-financial KPIs that will drive the business forward.
During this session Sean McLoughney will share his perspective on leading your business with KPIs.
Some key strategies that are explored during this session include:

  • The importance of non – financial KPIs in driving a business forward and their impact on the success of a business both short and long term.
  • A step by step approach to writing effective non – financial KPIs using the SMARTER goal setting method. How you will measure success and keep the KPIs relevant throughout the year. Some sample KPIs will be discussed and each participant will write a KPI for their business.
  • Linking business KPIs to performance management and in particular the performance review meetings. How to align the organisational KPIs to individual performance.
  • Mapping the behaviours that drive performance and ensuring that they are aligned to the organisational KPIs.
  • How KPIs and behaviour metrics can be used to promote a continuous improvement and personal responsibility culture within your company.
