Approximately 90% of Ireland’s workforce is employed in SME businesses.  Access to finance is crucial to their success and the economic success of the country. 

In this regard, Tom Murray will look at alternative sources of finance (as opposed to traditional bank finance) available to SMEs. He considers the types of finance, the providers of that finance and the criteria for getting that finance. He also considers the primary sources of grant aid available to SME companies.
