Flexible Communication

Overall Aim

The aim of this programme is to enhance your communication skills so you can ‘flex’ your style and improve your effectiveness when communicating with clients, staff, customers etc.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this programme you will:-

• Be introduced to a theory of communication that allows you to identify how people prefer to communication and how to use that to improve your own communication skills
• Know your own preferred style of communication and know how to identify that of others
• Know how to adapt and flex your own style to improve rapport with others
• Know how to improve your ability to successfully persuade and influence others
• Have practised ‘flexing’ your communication style
• Have drawn up an Action Plan to implement the learning back in the workplace
