Digital Fluency for Women in Business

The 2016 Accenture survey, "Getting to Equal," examined how digital fluency is helping to close the gender gap and level the plaing field between men and women in the workplace. The survey found that if we double the rate at which women become digitally fluent, developed countries could see workplace gender parity by 2040, twenty-five years sooner than the world economic forum estimated.  Interestingly (and positively) Ireland was placed in top five countries with the smallest digital fluency gap between men and women.

This year’s Women in Business event will examine several possible angles on how digital fluency can contribute to success.

Our topics and speakers for the Dublin event are:

Emma Walls, Director of Marketing at Glenisk will look at the relationship between digital fluency and equality. This will be followed up by a very practical session from Deirdre Waldron of Fuzion PR, who will present on how to build your own personal brand using digital technology to reap success.

The final speaker of the day, Kate Hyde, from the Glencove Group will provide attendees with an interesting insight on how digital can help pave the road to success and open the door to more opportunities in business.
