In this session, Maureen Kelly, CPA Ireland will bring you up to date on the practical impact of the Companies (Accounting) Act 2017 on your work as an Accountant. She will outline what the new reporting options and formats are and what the new financial statement formats look like.

The issue of who can file abridged financial statements and what they contain will also be covered.  Along with new reporting requirements and disclosure exemptions.

Improving productivity levels within your team isn’t easy but it’s an important part of a manager’s job. Regularly reviewing your employee’s job performance can reinforce outstanding performance as well as help improve overall performance levels. Despite most organisations having a structured performance management processes in place, there is still a lack of understanding about how to prepare for and deliver effective performance review meetings. While most managers believe, such meetings are useful, their time is precious and they would still rather that they didn’t have to do them. It is therefore essential that you have meaningful conversations which focus on achieving the best performance from everyone on your team.
