Over the last number of years, we have seen major changes in the pensions legislation. Further change is inevitable. The working retirement age is rising and working beyond retirement age will become more popular. It is anticipated that individuals will ‘partially’ retire so their income will comprise both salary and pensions.

Employee Pensions Scheme

Robert will look at the current legislation and consider your options as an employer or advisor looking in detail at the requirements of an employer and the options available as an employer looking at PRSA’s versus occupation pensions schemes, multi-employer schemes and what options are available when you leave an employer scheme.
Pensions Drawdown – What are your options when it comes to claiming your benefits?

In this seminar Robert, will advise on what are your options should you wish drawdown your pension. Consideration will be given to the type of pension plan in question, what is the status of the person drawing down and what the various options are.
Self-Administered Pensions / Overseas Pensions
19th September 2017 - 1pm -2pm
A self-administered pension allows you to decide for yourself how the fund will be invested. In this seminar Robert, will look closely at the benefits of a self-administered pension schemes and how they work.
He will also briefly look at overseas pensions considering the treatment of employees who are seconded or transferred by their employer for work
Revenue – Pensions Manual Update

In the final webinar of the pensions series, Robert will give a very practical explanation of Revenue’s eBrief no 60/17 launching the new pensions manual focusing on some crucial changes.
