Session 1 – Managing the team - 21 November 2017

Congratulations on becoming a manager, all your hard work has paid off.  In the first of three workshops Sean McLoughney will guide attendees on the practical steps to take to put a solid plan in place and provide some frameworks and techniques to manage your new team.

 

This seminar can be booked as a standalone event or as part of a series.

 

  • Review your new role; how this impacts each team; challenges that you face and how to overcome them
  • Different personality types within your teams, how to manage each personality and the best approach to communicating with each person
  • What’s happening within the team, Tuckman stages of team development, how to move the team through each stage and communicating your vision for the team
  • Agreeing your 100-day action plan.

Session 2 – Managing performance - 28th November 2017

One of the key roles of the manager is to achieve results.  Managing performance plays a key role here.  This session is very much a look at how we can create the right culture to achieve expected results.   In the second of the series Sean McLoughney will consider how best to manage individual and team performance to ensure a high level of engagement from your team.

Session 3 – Coaching the team - 12th December 2017

The role of coaching is now key element for managers in improving performance and retaining talented people. In this third and final session of the series Sean McLoughney will provide guidance to attendees on building a functioning coaching framework.
