A self-employed person works under a contract for services. Webinar 3 – Disciplinary and Dismissal Process – 11th December – Tom McDonagh, Adare Human Resource Management

 

This webinar will discuss all relevant legislation and applicable Codes of Practice. The primary objective of the disciplinary procedure is to ensure that Employees are made aware of any shortcomings in their performance, conduct or attendance and they are provided with an opportunity to resolve the issues. Attendees will seek a better knowledge of all relevant legislation which governs termination of employment, and all key considerations involved with termination. Recent case law will also be discussed throughout the webinar.

 

Webinar 4 – Employee Policies and Handbook – 15th December – Sarah Fagan, Adare Human Resource Management

 

This webinar will discuss the importance of having contracts of employment and an Employee Handbook in place. It will also discuss the importance of ensuring that these documents are fully compliant and reflect best practice. Recent case law will be used throughout this webinar to illustrate the consequences of not having these particular documents in place.
