Back in 2012 Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the IMF and the 8th most powerful woman in the world said that women need to accept that there will be "failures" if they attempt to juggle a career and raise children at the same time. Is this the case five year later?
Despite the growing number of women in the accounting and Finance industry (CPA Ireland reports it reached gender balance amongst its member in 2015) it appears that many have still to reach the top of their chosen careers. Why is this?
CPA Ireland in conjunction with Network Ireland have invited some senior professional women at the top of their careers to talk about their success, the choices the made along the way, the hurdles they have to overcome and share their thoughts on how these issues can be improved.
Networking will form an important part of this event allowing attendees to network with other women and build lasting professional relationships with other like-minded professional women.
