Course Aim

Refresher course on the major areas of an SME audit and to highlight the critical areas.

Major standards to be covered will include the following:

• ISA 230
• ISA 315
• ISA 320
• ISA 330
• ISA 520
• ISA 530
• ISA 450
• ISA 560
• ISA 570
• Reporting Standards (ISA 700, ISA 505, ISA 706 etc)

This course will emphasise some of the areas where weaknesses have emerged during audit inspections by CPA Ireland

There will be some limited “hands on” practical questions for discussion.

Learning outcome:

Understanding and applying the ISA’s to audits and improving documentation in working papers.
