Tax Preparation & Planning Workshop with Paul Murphy, Martin J Kelly & Co

In advance of the busy income tax filing season this seminar will bring the practitioner through the increasingly complex Forms 11 and 1 as well as providing topical tax tips and identifying pitfalls to be aware of when preparing the returns and computations. The seminar takes the practitioner through a tax return and aims to ensure that a return can be completed as quickly and efficiently as possible during the period in which we bill most of our clients!

Seminar includes:

  • Understanding the impact of residency and domicile for an income tax return
  • Refresher on completing the income elements of the Form 11
  • Review of available credits and reliefs that can be claimed including calculating allowable pension contributions and the importance of identifying income in the correct order
  • A brief overview of the IT38 return
