Women in Business

Speaker: Rosie FitzGerald, Katie Daughen, Michelle McGreal
Location: Dublin

Balance for Business

Recent research from Grant Thornton reveals that, in Ireland, only 24% of senior leadership roles are currently held by women. Statistics for the number of board positions held by companies on the ISEQ were even lower (8%). As the first professional accountancy institute to achieve gender parity in its membership, CPA Ireland is at the forefront of correcting this imbalance.

Our annual Women in Business events are key networking opportunities for female professionals to share leadership strategies, build their own networks and hear from successful female leaders and entrepreneurs. This year’s line-up of speakers includes a senior executive from AIB, a senior marketing manager in online broadcasting and a speaker from public affairs.

In 2019, CPA is proud to partner with AIB as the sponsor of the Women in Business evenings in Dublin and Cork.

Speakers for this year include:

►   Rosie FitzGerald - Creative Diector, BBC iPlayer
►   Katie Daughen - Head of Brexit Policy, British Irish Chamber of Commerce
►   Michelle McGrealCultural Transformation Lead and Head of Diversity & Inclusion, AIB
