This discussion paper issued by the IAASB recognises the challenges faced by practitioners in applying the ISAs, in particular for audit engagements where the entity being audited is less complex.

The webinar will explore the challenges set out in the paper and the number of possible actions that could be undertaken to address the identified challenges. The IAASB is looking for feedback from all stakeholders and in particular they want to hear the views of practitioners on these matters. Therefore the webinar will also look to gather the views of those attending to ensure that CPA Ireland’s response reflects the views of its members.
