IFRS 16 on leases is one of the most recent Standards to be issued by the International Standards Board. When it came into force for accounting periods starting on or after 1 January 2019 the Standard stood to have a significant impact on a large number of companies involving leased assets from major items like large buildings to vending machines and photocopiers. In this webinar Wayne will go through the main aspects of IFRS 16 and the potentially significant changes to previous practices that it represented and considers the repercussions, focussing in particular on organisations that lease assets to support their businesses.
