Suspicious transaction reporting: all you need to know

Accountants as designated persons under anti-money laundering legislation, have a statutory obligation to report suspicious transactions to both the Financial Intelligence Unit of An Garda Siochana and the Irish Revenue Commissioners. Attendance at this course will give reporters an excellent overview of how to report on the FIU GoAML system which has been updated during 2024 and reporting to the Irish Revenue Commissioners. We will also provide some details on when the reporting obligation arises in the first place and some information on other reporting obligations.
