There are many contractual clauses which are common to most contracts. However, there is a misconception that because they are common they are standard and benign.  This is not the case.  Each such clause arose to deal with a specific issue. Therefore it is important to understand the purpose for which they are included and the effect they have on the contract.  Clauses covered will include  endeavours, good faith, force majeure, warranties –v- indemnities and entire agreement clauses.
