Resilience Skills

Speaker: Jane Perry, Organisational Psychologist and Leadership Coach
Location: Webinar

Resilience is a protective quality which allows people to maintain well-being and performance under pressure and when faced with uncertainty, such as we are experiencing at this time. Resilience is the force that keeps us going and helps us recover during and after periods of high demand and adversity. It is the combination of positive coping capability and inner confidence that underpins our capacity to maintain control over our emotions and our responses when life presents its inevitable challenges.  Research shows that resilience is not a fixed characteristic; it can be developed and, with attention, can be sustained.

During this event we examine five distinct coping strategies which help build and maintain our resilience for life and work.
