New Code of Practice on Prevention And Resolution of Bullying at Work – actions all Employers should take
Bullying at work can have a significant impact on employees and employers, including legal costs in defending claims, employee turnover and poor morale.
The new Code of Practice for Employers and Employees On The Prevention And Resolution Of Bullying At Work from the Workplace Relations Commission and the Health and Safety Authority is a Code that all Employers should not just understand, but implement within their Organisation.
This webinar will focus on:
-
Updating your policy aligned to the new Code of Practice on the Prevention And Resolution Of Bullying At Work
-
Understanding and supporting the role of the line manager
-
Understanding and training the role of the Designated Contact Person(s)
-
How best to roll out your updated policy and procedure
-
Associated Risks
The introduction of this code brings about significant changes for existing Anti-Bullying at Work policies and all Employers should take the opportunity now to update and communicate out their updated policy.
While following the Code is not itself a legal requirement, it does provide that alleged breaches or contraventions of the Code’s provisions are admissible in evidence and will be considered by the adjudicating body should any external complaints arise.
