Ethical Update for Auditors
IAASA’s Ethical Standards for Auditors (Ireland) has been amended and the revisions become effective on the 15th July 2021.
The changes provide for a new requirement to report breaches of the Ethical Standard to the audit firm’s recognised accountancy body. The revised standard also strengthens a number of ethical prohibitions and requirements.
