CPA Ireland’s Bye Law cover a wide range of functions and provide a framework for the supervision and authorisation of CPA members and firms.

A number of CPA Ireland’s Bye Laws have recently been revised and become effective from 1st January 2022. Many of the changes represent a modernisation and streamlining of the regulations and also reflect new IAASA requirements particularly in the area of CPD for statutory auditors.

This webinar will explore and outline the changes and what they mean for CPA members and firms.

The following Bye Laws have been amended and the changes become effective from 1st January 2022;

  • Bye Law 4, Clients Money
  • Bye Law 7, Quality Assurance
  • Bye Law 8, CPD
  • Bye Law 9, PII
  • Bye Law 13, Practice and Audit Regulations
  • New Bye Law 15, Anti Money Laundering Regulations
