ISA 570 (Ireland), Going Concern, was revised for years ending 31st December 2020. The revisions require a more robust and comprehensive response by the auditor.

CPA Ireland’s quality assurance process is conducted in accordance with the Companies Act 2014 and Bye Law 7, Quality Assurance. The review comprises of an in-depth review of a selection of engagement files which have been pre-selected from your client base.
The review also includes an inspection of your firm’s compliance with your CPD and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.

Getting your audit firm ready for the new Quality Management Standards
Two new quality management standards for audit firms will replace IAASA’s current quality control standard ISQC1 with effect from 15th December 2022.
The new standards introduce a new quality management approach that is focused on proactively identifying and responding to risks to quality. The new approach requires a firm to customise the design, implementation and operation of its system of quality management based on the nature and circumstances of the firm and the engagements it performs. It also requires firms to transition from policies and procedures that address standalone elements, as required by extant ISQC (Ireland) 1, to an integrated approach that reflects upon the system of quality management as a whole.
This webinar explores the new standards and provides guidance to firms as they prepare for the imminent transition.
