Happiness is other people – sometimes. Sometimes, however other people don’t give us what we want or what we need. What to do about it? how do we influence others so that we can be more effective, happier and have better relationships? How do we have more influence in work and in our personal lives.
This talk will look at the psychology of influence, motivation, and negotiation in order to help participants have more influence and negotiate better in their personal and professional lives.
Participants will learn
-
What motivates other people, the principles of influence and how to use this knowledge to be more influential.
-
A simple tool to manage conflict better, improve assertiveness or give feedback.
-
A simple model for negotiation
To influence others, we have to know what makes them tick, and how we can use this knowledge to influence behaviour, as well as skills to manage conflict and negotiate. This talk aims to help with that.
