Conducting a climate scenario analysis

Speaker: Sheila Stanley
Location: Webinar

This webinar was originally recorded on the 10th of November 2023.

IFRS S2 requires companies to carry out a climate-related scenario analysis and provide disclosures on it for reporting periods beginning 1 January 2024 onwards. For many SMEs, this will be the first time that they conduct a climate scenario analysis for their business. In this webinar, we will take a look at IFRS S2 requirements relating to climate-related scenario analysis. We will also explore some of the publicly available tools available for SMEs that do not have the skills, capabilities and resources to carry out a more advanced quantitative approach to climate-related scenario analysis.
