Speaker Bio
Gearóid O’Sullivan
• Gearóid O’Sullivan is Tax Manager at Chartered Accountants Ireland.
• He sits on Main TALC, the TALC Direct and Capital Taxes Sub-committee, and the TALC Indirect Taxes Sub-committee.
• His responsibilities include delivering the Institute’s position on various aspects of tax policy.
Deirdre McCabe
• Deirdre McCabe is a director in PwC’s Tax Risk and Controversy group.
• Deirdre is a dual lawyer qualified (UK and Ireland), a qualified mediator and experienced litigator specialising in domestic and international tax controversy.
Catriona Coady
• Catriona Coady is Head of Tax within Wealth Management in Goodbody and is responsible for assisting clients in developing and implementing their strategic financial planning, tax and investment goals.
• She is adept in advising on investment and tax solutions covering succession and retirement planning.
• Prior to working for Goodbody, she spent over 20 years working with big 4 firms providing tax advice to international and domestic clients.
• Catriona is a CTA, TEP, CFP and a STEP Ireland Committee member. She is a regular contributor to media on tax and financial planning related matters.
Sinead Lew
• Sinead is a Corporate Tax Partner in PwC Ireland's Domestic and International Outbound (DIO) tax department and leads the Capital Projects, Infrastructure and Renewables tax group within the Irish practice.
• Sinead has over 15 years' experience providing corporate tax advice to a variety of market sectors including Irish plcs, private equity, large corporates and semi-state bodies.
• Sinead’s main areas of expertise include corporate tax consultancy, buy side and vendor due diligences, debt restructuring and refinancing, and renewables and capital projects transactions. She has advised across key renewable energy technologies including offshore wind, onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects from both an inward and outbound perspective.
