• Overview of Artificial Intelligence
• Some examples of working AI tools - ChatGPT, MidJourney, Dall-E, Copilot.
• Introduction to ChatGPT & Copilot
• Some Prompt Engineering techniques.
• Using ChatGPT and Copilot to accomplish some intermediate and advanced Tasks in Excel, such as:

   

  • Generating test data
  • Cleaning and formatting the information
  • Performing analysis using Power Query and Power Pivot
  • Apply conditional formatting
  • Produce a graph
  • Create complex formulas like VLOOKUP and INDEX / MATCH
  • Generate a reusable user defined function using the LAMBDA function
  • Create a VBA macro

• Use AI to accomplish tasks in Excel
• Know what facilities Artificial Intelligence provides today
• Understand some AI features which are planned for future releases
• Assess whether AI tools and techniques can be applied in their organization
• Consider the costs and potential benefits of adopting AI tools

All participants should please note the following

•  Participants should have a Microsoft 365 subscription but supported older desktop versions are workable.

• Prior to the course, all participants should register for a free account on ChatGPT:https://chat.openai.com/auth/login so they can complete the hands-on exercises

• Participants should also have a Microsoft account to log in to https://copilot.microsoft.com/ and should do this prior to the course.
• Two monitors. Having two monitors is very strongly recommended for this training. It allows you to view the trainer's PC in one monitor and the application that is the subject of the training in the other. On a single screen, it can be difficult to arrange the trainer's screen and your own application comfortably. If you only have a single screen, please inform the trainer - ideally before the test session - and they can help you to get the best from the training session.
