Keith Dunn and Johanna Cunningham will provide a detailed overview of the core intellectual property rights available under UK law and will explain how businesses of every size can secure, commercialise and enforce those rights to maximise competitive advantage.
They will explore the pivotal role employees play in generating IP, the statutory rules governing ownership, and the legal, commercial and cyber-security risks that arise when staff move jobs or misappropriate confidential know-how.
They will provide clear, actionable strategies for auditing existing IP assets, embedding robust protection mechanisms into employment contracts and policies, and responding swiftly when rights are threatened, ensuring that innovation remains protected throughout the business life-cycle.
