The aim of the course is to provide a general introduction to spreadsheet modelling and related analysis. During the course, participants will create a model 'from scratch' and the use of this model for various outputs, as outlined below (ROI, dashboard outputs etc.). This is augmented by a feed of given data into the model from 'history' to allow comparisons etc. with the model outputs.

Power BI Desktop is part of the suite of tools from Microsoft which enable data to be analysed and published from a variety of sources. This course provides a solid introduction to using Power BI Desktop to connect to data, create visualisations, query the data and publish reports.
